Effective date: August 3, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how DJI Healthcare, doing business as Essential Health RX, Essentialmedrx.com, collects, uses, and protects information from visitors to this website and users of our services.

Health information (HIPAA)

Essential Health RX is a medical practice. Protected health information (PHI) you share with us as a patient — through visits, the patient portal, intake forms, or messages with our clinical team — is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, available from our office on request, not by this website policy. We use and disclose PHI only as permitted by HIPAA and applicable state law: for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. We never sell patient information.

Information we collect on this website

If you submit a contact form or sign up for communications, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email, and phone number. Enrollment, scheduling, payment, and health intake are handled through our secure clinical platform (Practice Better) and payment processor; their handling of your information is described in their own privacy notices, and payment card details are processed by our payment processor — we do not store full card numbers.

How we use website information

We use website information to operate and improve the site, respond to inquiries, send communications you request, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the practice (hosting, analytics, scheduling, payments) under appropriate agreements, or when required by law.

You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time using the unsubscribe link. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encrypted transmission and access controls on clinical systems. We retain medical records as required by California law — at least seven years for adult records — and website information only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Children

This website and our services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this website.
